Research building GLC, ETH Zurich
With its clear design language, the new building blends intelligently into the building ensemble and, in addition to seminar and office space, contains various laboratories, research platforms and catering facilities.
The connection of the new building to the ETZ building has created a new overall situation with a central courtyard, the heart of which is the Scherrer lecture hall. The inner courtyard thus created has become the centre around which the main entrances and public facilities such as the cafeteria are grouped.
